Amarillo Police ask for info, aim for child welfare check after Monday incident | KAMR

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with the Amarillo Police Office are asking for the public’s support to identify the folks included in a Monday afternoon incident in northwest Amarillo.

According to a information release from the office, an officer was termed to 5730 Amarillo Blvd. West close to Murphy’s gasoline station around 4:51 p.m. Monday on a community accident contact. Witnesses explained to the officer at the scene they listened to a tiny baby screaming and when they looked, saw a male toddler lying on the asphalt in the vicinity of a maroon Chevrolet Malibu.
