Sheriff Ed Gonzalez claimed two men and women were killed Sunday in a crash on the Eastex Freeway.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two people had been killed Sunday in a crash on the northeast side of town.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez originally mentioned the crash concerned a truck and a Mini Cooper but afterwards claimed it was a truck and a KIA Soul.
Houston TranStar confirmed the crash, which transpired in the northbound lanes of the Eastex Freeway at Mt. Houston Highway, at about 3:15 p.m. At about 7 p.m., Gonzalez tweeted declaring that the crash experienced cleared
According to TranStar, all northbound lanes ended up closed on the freeway because of to the two-vehicle crash. In accordance to cameras in the area, site visitors was being diverted off at an exit before the crash scene.
Gonzalez explained two other people today were wounded in the crash and had been taken to area hospitals in good issue.
He later on stated the victims who died ended up a person and a lady who were being the two in their mid-30s.
