Streetsboro police say they are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a crash on Route 14 at Shady Lake Drive Saturday morning.

Police Lt. Rich Polivka said Monday that the vehicle, described as a dark green 2005 to 2007 Buick Terraza minivan, was eastbound on Route 14 when it made a turn onto Shady Lake and into the path of a westbound vehicle, which struck the minivan, at about 9:09 a.m. Saturday. Polivka said no injuries were reported to the driver of the westbound vehicle, a 17-year-old Diamond girl.

The minivan then continued on Shady Lake, but where it went from there is unknown, said Polivka. it was reported that the minivan sustained heavy damage to it rear passenger side, and the rear window may have broken in the crash.

Polivka said security video shot from a nearby business caught images of the minivan and footage of the crash.
