Investigators with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Business are seeking into two different incidents that Sheriff Sam Craft claimed associated what appears to be makes an attempt to kidnap youngsters Sunday afternoon.
In accordance to Craft, people in the location of Lebleu Highway noted that two Caucasian men driving a white Chevrolet Z71 four-doorway pickup tried to entice youngsters into their car close to two various residences.
Craft stated the to start with incident involved a 12 calendar year-previous woman who was going for walks to a neighbor’s dwelling. He reported the guys stopped in the roadway and consistently named out to the girl, telling her to arrive around to their truck. The youngster grew to become alarmed and ran to the closest residence, Craft said.
The 2nd incident, according to Craft, occurred just a short length absent from the initial incident and involved 3 female juveniles who have been enjoying in the front garden of their home.
In this incident, Craft said the men stopped their truck and called out to the women just as just before, making an attempt to get them to come around to their truck. The mother of the little ones stepped out onto the porch of the dwelling and the truck speedily still left the space.
The young children explained the driver of the truck as having sandy blonde hair that was curly on best. The girls also indicated that the truck has some sort of grey-coloured graphic or decal on the side of the truck.
Craft claimed that he is hoping that any neighbors with safety cameras could have caught photographs of the men.
“We are asking that any citizens nearby with surveillance cameras within the place of Lebleu Highway to evaluation their digital camera footage for the specified timeframe of involving 3:40 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.,” Craft said.
